Iain:
Originally from the North East, Iain started playing bass at the age of 18 and had his first experience of playing live while at college in Stoke, at The Bowler Hat in Burslem with an 'alternative' band called 'The Brew Company' (if anyone remembers that I'll eat my bass.....well, maybe not).
A few other bands followed over the years back in the North East, with varying degrees of success, and a reasonable number of gigs. Then a chance of work back in Stoke brought Iain back to the City and it wasn't long before gigging started again.
A long spell away from playing then followed before a chance meeting with Phil brought about the motivation to get going again, a bit rusty and rough around the edges (keeping things simple), but it's good to be playing again.
Influences are too many to mention, everyone who plays bass really, but Iain isn't a strict Blues fan (should I have said that?). Musical likes include everything, Classical, Jazz, Pop, oh, and I'm getting into Blues now!
